WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM A NATUROPATH?
Most clients notice meaningful changes in energy, sleep and symptom load within the first 4 to 6 weeks of beginning their naturopathic protocol. This often includes a greater sense of clarity — both physically and in understanding what has been driving their symptoms. For many women, this alone is significant. To have an explanation, a framework and a plan, rather than continuing to feel dismissed or confused by their own body.
Deeper work takes longer — and that is entirely normal. Hormonal rebalancing, gut repair, immune recalibration and the resolution of long-standing nutrient deficiencies are not processes the body can rush. Meaningful and lasting change in these areas typically emerges over 3 to 6 months of consistent support, and often continues well beyond that as the body builds resilience.
What shifts during this time is not just how you feel symptom by symptom. It is your relationship with your body. Most clients move from a place of confusion, frustration or disconnection — often after years of being told their results are normal — toward a genuine understanding of what their body needs and why.
That shift in itself changes everything.
Naturopathic care is not a straight line. There will be weeks that feel like significant progress and weeks that feel slower. Your protocol will be adjusted as your body responds, as test results come in and as your life circumstances change. This is the nature of working with a living system — and it is precisely why ongoing support, rather than a one-off consultation, tends to produce the most meaningful outcomes.

HEALTH ASSESSMENT CALL
You might like to start your journey by booking in a complimentary 15 minute health assessment call, to see if Naturopathy is right for you.
ONE
Upon booking, you will complete an initial intake form where you can note any medications and/or supplements you are currently taking as well as their dosage. Highlight diagnosed health conditions, outline your main health goal/s, attach any pathology or recent tests, communicate if you are pregnant as well as provide your informed consent.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A NATUROPATHY SESSION
TWO
During your first consultation, I’ll spend more time getting to know you. We will deep dive into the landscape of your current health and lifestyle, your family history, diet and habits so I can make sure you receive the exact support you need to thrive. My process is warm and welcoming, free from judgement (although I am human), neurodiverse and trauma informed - a nuturing safe space to be authentic. We will then tap into your brightest vision for the future of your wellbeing (on the levels of your mind, body and spirit) and go from there.....

YOU HAVE OPTIONS
You might like to know, that I offer both online as well as in person sessions. And offer two late nights for after hour appointments
THREE
Once equipped with a full case history, I begin my evidence-based research.
I may recommend some base-line functional testing, to further inform our direction and investigate an aspect or symptom more throughly.
We may begin a bespoke Treatment Protocol with a herbal tincture and/or supplements. Or we may first focus on diet and lifestyle, which underpins so much of our health.
Each Protocol will include;
-
rationale and options where possible
-
clearly map out each Phase, health goal and estimation as to how long it will take.
-
all medications and supplements are throughly checked for safety interactions and depletions
-
confidence that I only recommend what is necessary - often preferring the more gentle path.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF...
-
You have been told your blood results are normal but you still don't feel well — and you are tired of being dismissed
-
You are navigating perimenopause and want to understand what is actually happening in your body, not just manage symptoms as they arise
-
You are dealing with multiple symptoms across different body systems — fatigue, gut issues, hormonal changes, mood shifts, skin or hair changes — and no one has looked at the full picture
-
You have tried doing all the right things — eating well, exercising, taking supplements — and still aren't getting the results you expect
-
You are ready to invest in understanding your body deeply, rather than cycling through generic protocols that don't account for your individual history
-
You are going through something significant — a diagnosis, a hormonal transition, a period of chronic stress — and you want support that meets the complexity of what you are experiencing
-
You want to work with a practitioner who will take the time to listen, investigate properly and build a plan that is genuinely yours
Most women work with me over several months to create sustainable change

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Are you a qualified Naturopath?
I am indeed. I have an Advanced Diploma of Clinical Naturopathy and Integrative Natural Health (and am also a qualified Nutritionist), through Nature Care College.
I see you also offer Nutrition and Reiki services. How do I know which pathway is right for me?
Firstly, if there’s a modality you feel particularly called to, I invite you to trust your intuition and follow that path.
If however you are lacking clarity (which is perfectly okay!), then feel free to reach out to me here and share a bit about your health challenge/s. From there, we can decide on your best path forward.
How often should I have Naturopathy?
Because everybody is different, your ideal frequency of appointments will be very individual. However generally speaking, consistent support, paired with devotion to your treatment plan between sessions, will reap you the greatest health and wellbeing rewards.
Is the process for online support different?
No, it’s essentially the same except any tinctures, herbs, flower essences and/or nutraceutical/supplement support will be promptly mailed to you.

How is naturopathy different to seeing a dietitian or nutritionist?
Naturopaths in Australia are trained across multiple modalities including nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle counselling — making the scope of practice broader than nutrition alone. (1)
"Naturopathic medicine is unique in that it combines the science of conventional diagnosis with the art of identifying root causes — addressing the terrain of the body, not just the presenting symptom." — Dr. Joseph Pizzorno, ND, co-founder of Bastyr University
Dietitians and nutritionists are experts in food and dietary guidance — and they do that very well. Naturopathy goes broader and deeper. Arjuna looks at the whole picture: your hormones, gut health, nervous system, stress load, sleep, absorption, emotional wellbeing, and how all of these systems interact.
Where a dietitian might address what you eat, Arjuna looks at why your body is responding the way it is — and uses functional testing, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, and lifestyle medicine together to address the underlying cause.

Why do I still feel unwell when my blood tests come back normal?
"Normal on a lab report means you fall within a statistical range — not that your body is functioning optimally. There is a vast space between 'not diseased' and 'truly well.'" (2)
This is one of the most common frustrations Arjuna hears — and one of the most important things naturopathy can address. Standard pathology uses broad reference ranges designed to identify disease, not optimise function. A result that sits just inside "normal" can still represent significant imbalance for your individual physiology.
Functional testing — like the DUTCH hormone panel, GI-MAP, and HTMA — looks at how your body is actually performing, not just whether it clears a minimum threshold. It finds what standard testing misses.
Studies show (3) that subclinical imbalances — thyroid, iron, cortisol, vitamin D, and sex hormones — frequently fall within standard reference ranges while still producing significant symptoms in patients.

Can naturopathy help with perimenopause and menopause symptoms?
Yes — this is Arjuna's primary area of expertise. Perimenopause and menopause can bring a shopping list of symptoms: disrupted sleep, brain fog, mood changes, weight shifts, hot flushes, fatigue, and more. Conventional medicine often addresses these in isolation; naturopathy maps the full hormonal picture.
"Perimenopause is not a disease to be treated — it is a transition to be supported. Women deserve care that addresses the full complexity of this shift, not just a single symptom in isolation." (4)
Research published in Menopause: The Journal of the Menopause Society confirms that integrative approaches — combining nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle support — significantly reduce symptom burden and improve quality of life during this transition.
Using tools like the DUTCH hormone test, GI-MAP, and detailed pathology review, Arjuna builds a precise picture of where your hormones are and what they need — creating a genuinely personalised strategy for this season of life.
