HEALING WITH HEART

HELLO DEAR ONE. I’M ARJUNA
A Clinical Naturopath, Nutritionist and Usui Ryoho Reiki Master based in Kiama, NSW, where the mountains meet the sea.
I specialise in perimenopause, women's hormonal health, gut health and complex presentations — and I am the creator of the Hormonal Heritage Method, a trauma-informed, five-stage clinical framework that weaves together naturopathy, nutrition, functional testing and Reiki to address not just your symptoms, but the deeper story beneath them.

I hold Advanced Diplomas in Clinical Naturopathy and Integrative Natural Health from Nature Care College and am a registered member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). I bring a trauma-informed lens to every aspect of my clinical work.

I offer in-person consultations in the Illawarra region — including Kiama, Wollongong, Shellharbour and Nowra — and telehealth across Australia.

MY Story
I arrived through my own body.
Before naturopathy, my career was rooted in challenging injustice. Working in the not-for-profit sector — starting at Oxfam — was a values call. We always asked why. We always looked at the whole picture. Giving back to community. Building women up. Believing that inspired action can make the world more equitable, more compassionate, more whole.
Naturopathy is an evolution, not a departure. It asks the same questions and looks at the whole picture.
Then came surgery. A period of enforced stillness that, as difficult as it was, became a turning point. In that season of recovery — slowing down, listening inward, tending to myself with a care my body was demanding — something crystallised. My love of food as medicine, the wisdom of plants, the understanding that our emotional landscape shapes our physical health just as profoundly as any pathology result — it all kaleidoscoped together.
Naturopathy was a siren call home.
What I needed during that recovery wasn't more pharmaceuticals. It was nutrition advice specific to post-surgical healing. It was better informed consent. It was someone saying "everybody recovers differently — you may be slower or faster, and both are fine" rather than measuring me against a milestone I wasn't meeting. Someone who would look at the whole of me — my history, my patterns, my nervous system, the emotional terrain beneath the physical symptoms.
Having moved through the conventional medical system as a patient, I had seen its gifts and its gaps up close. The compartmentalisation. The missed connections. And I knew we could do so much better.
That knowing built A Healing Intention. I chose that name thoughtfully — having begun with energy healing, I understood that intention was everything. And my intention has always been to help heal.
I am passionate about empowering women, supporting them to listen to and trust their own body wisdom. I want to nurture your inner healer — growing your knowledge, deepening your trust in what your body already knows. I want women to re-remember which plants to grow, which remedies to make, and to pass that knowledge from one generation to the next — the way it was always meant to be shared.
I want the utter disservice of healthcare inequality to stop. More research into women-specific conditions. Reduced diagnostic timeframes. Practitioners better trained in women's health. Women's bodies honoured — not medicalised.
Much of what I share with you, I have learnt or lived. Everything I ask of you, I would ask of myself.
I trained at Nature Care College, completing Advanced Diplomas in Clinical Naturopathy and Integrative Natural Health, and I am a qualified Nutritionist and Usui Ryoho Reiki Master — a registered member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
And it would be my deepest honour to walk this with you.
Arjuna x
