What are the A Healing Intention Soundscapes?
The A Healing Intention Soundscapes are a curated collection of relaxing and meditative audio recordings designed to soothe the soul and support your nervous system. Created with the same intention that sits behind every aspect of Arjuna's clinical work — that healing happens at every level, not just the physical — these soundscapes offer a gentle, accessible way to support your wellbeing between sessions and in your everyday life.
How do I use the soundscapes for somatic support?
Somatic healing works through the body — through sensation, breath, stillness and presence. The soundscapes are designed to support this process by creating an auditory environment that signals safety to the nervous system.
To use them somatically, find a comfortable position — lying down or seated — close your eyes, and allow your attention to drop from your thoughts into your body. Notice where you feel tension, sensation or holding. Breathe. Let the sound do the work of settling your nervous system while you simply observe what arises in the body with curiosity rather than judgment.
Even ten minutes of this practice used consistently can create a meaningful shift in how held and regulated you feel throughout your day.
How can soundscapes support my nervous system?
Sound has a profound and well-documented effect on the autonomic nervous system. Relaxing, meditative soundscapes guide the body from sympathetic activation — the state of stress, vigilance and reactivity — into parasympathetic rest, where repair, restoration and integration become possible.
For women navigating perimenopause, this is particularly significant. The hormonal fluctuations of perimenopause directly impact nervous system regulation — contributing to anxiety, sleep disruption, emotional volatility and a persistent sense of overwhelm. Regular use of calming sound can help interrupt that stress cycle, creating moments of genuine rest that accumulate over time into greater resilience and steadiness.
How often should I use them?
There is no prescription — only invitation. Even a few minutes of intentional listening each day can be supportive, particularly in moments of heightened stress, before sleep, or as a gentle transition between the busyness of your day and a space of rest. Many women find them most powerful when used as a daily ritual — a consistent signal to the nervous system that rest is safe and available.
Can soundscapes support perimenopause?
Yes — in a gentle but meaningful way. Perimenopause is not just a hormonal transition. It is a nervous system event, a somatic experience and an emotional passage. While naturopathic care and nutrition address the biochemical dimensions of that transition, soundscapes offer something complementary — a space to soften, to drop out of the mental noise, and to allow the body to simply be.
Used regularly, meditative sound can support more restful sleep, reduced anxiety, improved emotional regulation and a greater sense of groundedness — all of which have a positive flow-on effect to hormonal health and overall wellbeing.
